CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

VERY BEGINNER YOGA
This class is designed for students who are new to the practice of yoga and need more attention gaining dexterity and stability in the postures. It also for those who lack flexibility or have injuries that prevents them from going to a Level 1 class. We will focus on the details of the poses and the development of muscular core strength at a slow pace.

YOGA LEVEL I : Fundamentals 
Perfect place for beginners to start the yoga journey, and for experienced students who want to practice at a slower pace. This class is also for those recovering from injuries (doctors approval recommended). We focus on gaining understanding of body mechanics, alignment, creating ease in the basic yoga postures, Special instruction on breathing.

YOGA LEVEL I/II : Mixed Levels Fundamentals +  Moving into Flow Vinyasa  
Maybe you have been practicing for a while and you want a slower  class that still details poses so you can understand technique . Level I/II is a class that keeps the pace moderate. We incorporate some flowing combinations. This class is a GREAT class to reenter into your yoga practice after a GAP in practicing .  This class is also for those recovering from injuries (doctors approval recommended). We focus on gaining understanding of body mechanics, alignment, creating ease in advancing into more complex poses and sequences, Special instruction on breathing.

 

YOGA LEVEL II : Intermediate Mixed Level Vinyasa
Our teachers focus on dynamic and unique sequencing (vinyasa krama) of postures (asana), breathing (pranayama), cleansing techniques (kriyas). We incorporate all elements of the Shakti Yoga style to achieve harmony, confidence, creativity and inner peace. Alternatives to poses are offered to accommodate all levels of ability. Students will experience an intelligent and engaging approach to gain strength, flexibility, coordination, concentration, and relaxation.

RESTORATIVE YOGA
A peaceful and relaxing class where poses are supported and held so your mind and nervous system calms down. You will be refreshed and renewed.
